I’ve still got some feedback to go through, but now that I’ve started, it’s a bit difficult for me to wait for the next episode to start implementing changes. Of course, the content of the show would suffer if I rushed, and since providing a valuable show is the main point, I’m not going to let my excitement get in the way of that. So what is one to do?
Well, I’m contemplating doing a content based after action episode. Since I’m not planning on doing this weekly, considering the deep dives into information presented (and yes, I know I didn’t do as good of a job with that on Episode 001 as I wanted – next one will be even better), and considering the fact that I’m not doing this live right now, an after action would consist of the following:
- Answer submitted questions that won’t be addressed in another episode
- Provide a ‘teaser’ for what the next episode topic is going to be
This will be a slightly shorter episode, and hopefully scratch the itch I have of fast turnaround, while also staying true to the goals of the show. It’s not live, but it would be a good way to answer any questions you may have, whether they are submitted via youtube comments, comments here, the MMM Forums (this is the link to the FFS thread), tweets, or whatever else method of communication is used. Also, as I typed that out, I realized something that could potentially be a weakness. Right now, all that stuff is available, and I’ve received one publically available piece of feedback. But if this ever takes off, it could definitely take a while to go through all of that. More stuff to percolate on.
Anyway, back to the point of this post. An after action episode. Use the poll below to vote yes or no in general, and use the comments to expand on why, why not, or something else that should be used. If I don’t get a response, I’ll totally make an executive decision.
